The Putney Project

A feminine, liveable 3 bedroom flat in SW London.

Jemma, a matchmaker by day, a homebody with a cup of herbal tea by night, came to Project Home for a head-to-toe makeover of her 3 bedroom investment flat in Putney.

We covered everything from initial ideas and design to sourcing tradesmen, placing orders, organising deliveries and project managing the whole refurbishment and kitchen installation.

This 3 bedroom split floor head-to-toe transformation and kitchen refurbishment yielded a 20% increase in market value after one year, profiting almost £100k.

Living Space Before

We identified that a greater sized living space would make it more attractive on the market when she came to sell, so our trusty builder knocked through the small study to brighten and open up the space, which made a huge difference...

(Although Jemma wanted pink), we advised keeping the backdrop neutral to make for an easier sell but made the space personal to her with an abundance of accessories (and pink).

Kitchen Before

The kitchen before was really dated and unfortunately there was not much in the way of salvaging anything so we had to source new.

The kitchen that we sourced was well within budget and couldn’t have been truer to her brief.

We made good the original floorboards that ran through the whole of the upstairs which saved Jemma a lot.

“I can’t thank Project Home enough. I didn’t need to take any time off work. I trusted Sophie with the project and it was seamless from the get go. We had lots of contact throughout the project so I felt like I knew what was going on at all times.”
